1. Snowshoe Trek Alestsch Forest

Transport yourself into a magical world, high above the Alestsch Glacier when you travel to the Alestsch Forest for a day of snowshoe hiking. Listed as one of the most beautiful hiking trails in this region, this is a great activity if you want great views and the chance to see the ancient trees that this forest is known for. The hike is an easy difficulty level and takes about three and a half hours to complete.

2. The longest toboggan run in Europe Grindelwald

Known for being the longest toboggan run in Europe, Big Pintenfritz is named after a village innkeeper who allegedly brought this run to life after a bet. With a vertical drop of 1,600 meters, the distance from the starting point at Faulhorn to the finishing point a Grindelwald is 15 kilometers. With Eiger, Mŏnch and Jungfrau as backdrops, the views are incredible. Test your toboggan skills on this unforgettable ride.

This smaller sized ski resort holds big fun for families looking for a fun ski adventure! This kids’ snow playground is accessible to the general public and helps children learn how to ski in a fun and easy way. The flat terrain is exceptionally ideal for young skiers and their families.

4. Night Excursion to Colombire Alpine Museum

Every Wednesday you can take up the chance to make a snow-shoe trek to the Colombire Alpine Museum in Crans Montana. Catch a glimpse of the alpine life from the 1930s in the exciting museum. Be taken back down to Aminona for dinner by a sled once your visit at the museum has wrapped up. The hike to get to the museum is of easy difficulty and takes a little over an hour to complete.


5. Eiger Run — Grindelwald

Starting at Alpiglen and ending at the foot of the Eiger and passing directly under the legendary North Face, the Eiger Run has been called one of the most attractive toboggan runs in the Bernese Oberland. The tobogganing descent is a very memorable and spectacular one. This trail becomes illuminated at light, which brings about an incredible, hard to beat, nighttime experience. This hike is a medium difficulty hike and runs about 3 kilometers in length.
