The NFL's championship game--the golden anniversary of the Superbowl--is an epic face-off between the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers, two teams that have worked hard, defeated odds, and pulled off incredible victories to make it to the most important game in the NFL.
And this year, as the 50th anniversary of the Superbowl, is a reason to celebrate! If you're a Payton Manning fan, the Broncos making it to this game makes you proud to reside in Colorado.
If you're a Cam Newton fan, the up-and-coming Panthers fighting their way to the top and making it to the championship game makes you proud to live in the Carolinas.
Our love of football is undeniable. It's in our blood as Americans. The game excites us. The competition is fierce and often unpredictable. But perhaps it's the unknown that gets us so excited.
We love that.
But as much as we love our football and our favorite teams, there are always one or two people we love just a little more, am I right?
So for those people, here are cute little greeting cards that share your affection, your love of football, and your clever wit:
At the end of the game, when the rings are awarded to the victors and the celebrations really begin, we will have cheered our hearts out, eaten a week's worth of snacks, and laughed like hyenas at the hilarious and witty commercials.
We will have enjoyed ourselves with America's game. And we will be looking forward to the next season with as much anticipation as ever.
Broncos? Panthers? Who are you rooting for this weekend?
After the game is all said and done, grab an "I love you more than _____" victory card and send it to a loved one. Whether in sincerity or in a friendly rivalry, let HopSkipJumpPaper provide meaningful entertainment for you and your family long after the game is over.
