It is a great place to visit for couples, families, friends and even solo travelers. If you’re a foodie looking to wine and dine in some great restaurants, a spiritual person looking to reconnect with nature, or an outdoor enthusiast in search of your next adventure, consider Vietnam.
The capital of Vietnam boasts stunning architecture which is centuries old. The Old Quarter is at the heart of this city. Here, you will find that the streets are organized by trade. You will also find small temples in this area, such as Bach Ma. One Pillar Pagoda is another landmark you absolutely must see. It’s a small temple set on a stone pillar. Hanoi is a part of Vietnam that you simply can’t do in just a day. You need several days to allow yourself to explore all of the beauty this city has to offer. From the neoclassical Opera House to the Temple of Literature (from the 11th Century), there is so much history here in Hanoi. Couples, families and even solo travelers will absolutely love this city! If you only have time to spend a day here, be sure to allocate the time to map out your visit – you don’t want to miss anything!
If your idea of an ideal vacation involves natural beauty, then be sure to check out Nha Trang. This is a coastal city that is quite popular for its gorgeous beaches. There are plenty of resort hotels and seafood restaurants to relax and enjoy a delectable dining experience. You can even hop on an aerial cable car to visit Hon Tre Island and its surrounding nature reserves, where you will be able to explore coral reefs.
If your preference is scenic rice fields and mountains, then make it a point to visit Sa Pa. It’s easy to say that you will never want to leave. Sa Pa is located in northwestern Vietnam, and it’s a great place to visit if you want to enjoy a scenic hike. You’ll feel as though you are stepping back in time. The Notre Dame Cathedral is another popular stopping point in this area. You are sure to be amazed by just about everything in Sa Pa – the intricate details and bright, beautiful colors of the rice fields is something that you just won’t see anywhere else.
Clearly, Vietnam has a lot to offer. It is certainly worth considering if you are thinking about your next travel destination. From the great food and friendly people to the history and beautiful scenery, there truly is something for everyone here. Be sure to visit Vietnam – you will not be disappointed.
