If you’re enjoying some downtime and finally starting to think about where you want to go on your next trip, then here is an option to consider: Thailand. You might have seen photos of some of the breathtaking beaches, beautiful Buddha Temple, or even of the city of Bangkok with its unbeatable views. No matter what you enjoy doing while you’re on vacation, you are sure to find something that draws you to Thailand. It is such a spectacular place – one you must experience in your lifetime!
Let’s start with the second biggest island in Thailand. Ko Samui is famous for its coconut groves, mountainous rainforest and crystal clear water. A landmark which people tend to visit while they are here is the Big Buddha statue which is located at Wat Phra Yai Temple. Famous beaches include Lamai and Chaweng, and you can enjoy a good book as you rest in a lounge chair during the day, then sip on a drink at night with your party.
A trip to Thailand just wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Bangkok. This is the capital of Thailand, and it’s famous for its street life and shrines. The network of canals is also something people tend to be fascinated with. The Wat Phra Kaew Temple, Wat Pho Temple and Wat Arun Temple are all located here. The skyline of the city is an excellent backdrop for photos. And let’s not forget about the food – foodies from all over the world are sure to be amazed by what they can find in Bangkok. There are renowned international restaurants as well as plenty of offerings in terms of sweet, salty and sour local foods.
If you’re looking for amazing resort hotels, plenty of shopping, temples and beautiful beaches sure to take your breath away, then stop in Pattaya. Better yet, stay a night or two. This is the ultimate place to go to relax and reconnect with nature. The Sanctuary of Truth is a huge Buddhist temple that is likely to make you feel humbled just by standing in front of it. This beautiful wood shrine has so many intricate carvings – it must be seen to be believed.
If you prefer beach activities, then you can try jet-skiing, or you might opt to simply relax in a comfy lounge chair. If you’re the type of person who prefers a busy nightlife, you’ll find plenty to do – from bars to clubs.
Visiting Thailand is certainly a once in a lifetime experience. Those who are in search of a meditative vacation that allows them to reconnect with nature and find inner peace will appreciate Thailand. Those who want to explore beautiful beaches will find that Thailand is a far better experience than taking a cruise. And those who just want to check out a new city will not be disappointed. So take a trip to Thailand. Experience it for yourself!
